2023 Tahoe Chevrolet
An SUV is one of the most stylish ways to get around, but these stunning vehicles have much more to offer including generous interior space, enhanced technology features, and impressive performance. While there are plenty of options to choose from, the new 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe tends to stand apart thanks to its host of exciting features. Learn all about the new Tahoe, and discover whether or not it's right for your next purchase.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
With a whopping six trim levels, it's easier than ever to find the version of the Tahoe that meets your needs. The base-level LS trim already comes with alluring features such as 17-inch wheels, assist steps, rain-sensing wipers, and LED headlights and taillights. Upgrade to the LT, and you'll find the option for heated outboard auto-dimming mirrors with integrated turn signals.
With the RST trim, you'll find mostly exterior upgrades including stylish black accents and 22-inch black alloy wheels. The Z71 trim, on the other hand, is more centered around performance, but it does still offer front/rear tow hooks, a front skid plate, and 20-inch wheels with all-terrain tires. The Premier trim is more luxurious with exterior features such as a standard auto-dimming driver-side outboard mirror and 20-inch alloy wheels. With the High Country trim, you get 22-inch alloy wheels and the option for power-retractable running boards.
Engine (Power)
Under the hood of the Tahoe, you'll find one of three engine options. The standard engine is a 5.3-liter V-8 that offers 355 horsepower with 383 pound-feet of torque. If that's not enough for you, you may want to upgrade to the 6.2-liter V-8 and its 420 horsepower with 460 pound-feet of torque. Additionally, you'll find a diesel option available that's a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline six. This engine offers 277 horsepower with 460 pound-feet of torque.
Performance
The Tahoe was designed from the ground up to offer reliable performance that's easy to control. The two-speed transfer case, for example, typically runs using a rear-wheel-drive system, but it will automatically switch to four-wheel drive if there's a problem with rear-wheel traction. Plus, the electronic limited-slip rear differential will automatically send torque to the wheel with a better grip on the same axle as the one that's slipping.
Interior
Inside the Tahoe, you'll find plenty of space for cargo and passengers alike. In fact, the interior cargo capacity is so massive that you'll have an incredible 123 cubic feet of space when you fold down the rear rows of seats. Plus, there's a low and flat load floor courtesy of the independent rear suspension that makes it easier than ever to take advantage of all that space. The Tahoe also comes with a 10.2-inch touchscreen interface for the infotainment system.
Safety Features
Quite a few safety features are standard with the new Tahoe including driver assistance systems like lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assist and forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking. You may also upgrade to get extra features like adaptive cruise control and a hands-free driving mode.
